In January 2007, United Methodist Communications launched the
redesign of UMC.org, the official website of The United Methodist Church. The United Methodist Church has more than 8.3 million members in the U.S. and nearly 11 million internationally.
UMC.org uses innovative technologies to bring people of faith together in new ways. At UMC.org, you can connect with other people of faith
anywhere in the world at any time of day and build relationships that
enrich your faith. You can access the church’s resources, find a church
in your community, identify your personal spiritual gifts, and ask others
to remember your needs in their prayers.
UMC.org was designed to meet the needs of a large global audience and offer a welcoming experience, as if walking into a church. The redesigned site achieves this with a single entranceway that provides access to church resources and offers visitors a close look at the denomination’s faith community. Whether you are a clergy member, church member, seeker, educator, parent, or youth, UMC.org offers a range of functions that are relevant to your daily life.
